Jim Schmid: Photography

Our guest speaker for October was Jim Schmid, a professional, commercial photographer, who helped us learn to take better photos, whether it be just a great photo, or a better shot of our art work for publication purposes. Jim is an award winning professional photographer who earned 1st place in the Kodak Photography Awards Competition where there were more than 50,000 entries. He has photographed NASCAR, weddings, CEO's, houses, subjects for magazine publications, etc. He has shot in Russia, NYC, and all over the USA. We learned about aperture settings, shutter speeds, and lighting.
