Marcus Hamilton: Illustrating a Career
Mint Hill Arts hosted a gallery reception for Mint Hill artist, Marcus Hamilton. August's reception, “Marcus Hamilton Illustrating…a Career” was a retrospective of Mr. Hamilton's illustration works. He is well known as the daily panel cartoonist for the late Hank Ketcham’s “Dennis the Menace.” The exhibit will feature approximately forty of Mr. Hamilton’s works, including story illustrations, magazine covers, as well as Dennis himself. As a special treat Mr. Hamilton was signing Dennis the Menace prints at the gallery reception. Prints were available for $5, with all proceeds going to Mint HIll Arts.
