At Mint Hills Arts, we welcome artists of all media and skill levels. Even if you are just starting out and need some motivation, inspiration, or help, please join us.
Meetings are held monthly on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. We focus
on special presentations, demos and exchange of ideas. Meetings are open
to members and the public. We also hold a free live model drawing session
on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
The Mint Hill Arts gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Our Gallery Receptions are held each month on the second Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Mint Hill Arts, please review the membership information below and then complete either the online application and payment (below) or download the membership application and send payment to the gallery.
General Membership: $65 per year
This non-volunteering membership includes out-of-town members.
Benefits:
Participation in Member-Only and Open gallery shows
20% commission paid on sales (non-member commission is 40%)
Access to calls for artists for monthly shows, portrait drawing, life drawing, online newsletter (blog), gallery reception invitations, and opportunities for artists announcements
Discounts at area art stores and other merchants
Active Volunteer Membership: $45 per year
This membership level requires active participation at Mint Hill Arts by serving on a committee of your choice and agreement to be on a voluteer email list. A regular and ongoing time commitment is expected.
Benefits:
All the benefits of general membership, plus:
15% commission paid on sales
Student Membership: $20 per year
Includes all benefits of general membership for currently renrolled students ages 18-25. 20% commission paid on sales.
Membership Add-on Options
Household membership: $10 per year added to membership fee
All benefits of membership extended to one other adult and children in your household under age 21.
Mint Hill Arts Website Listing: $20 per year added to membership fee
Your name listed on the Mint Hill Arts website with a link to your own artist gallery page and a link to your website or blog.
If you are not an artist but enjoy and would like to support the arts you may prefer to choose one of the following membership levels:
Friend: $25
Monthly gallery reception invitations sent directly to your email address.
Patron
Includes all the advantages of a Friend membership, plus one set of note cards by a member artist.
Silver: $100+ yearly
Gold: $500+ yearly includes 5% discount on one gallery purchase.
Platinum: $1000+ yearly includes 10% discount on one gallery purchase.
To become a new member or renew your existing membership, complete and submit the form below, which will take you directly to PayPal to complete your payment
(you can choose to pay with credit card or with your PayPal account).
If you prefer to mail the application and payment, please download and complete the Membership Application Form.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to complete membership online, you must also complete payment online. If you do not complete payment online, your membership application is deleted. If you do not want to complete payment online, download the membership application, complete it, and mail or submit payment in person.
Studio Rental
Mint Hill Arts is now offering studio space rentals within the gallery. Please contact David Bridge for more information.
We are currently accepting applications from artists for future gallery receptions. All media are welcome. Individual and shared shows will be considered. All work must be original and displayed professionally. If you are interested in submitting work or for further information about Mint Hill Arts, contact Laura Sussman-Randall.
If you have selected the MHA Website Listing option, you can have a dedicated page on the MHA website of your artwork along with a link to your own website. Please contact Catherine for submission requirements or if you have any questions.
